Activist.

Much of my activism stems from my experiences as a parent as I’ve struggled to find and create opportunities for Black children to be children, to explore their curiosities, to experience warmth and care, and to imagine and create a future for themselves: all essentials to positive development. My activism is quiet; I am most often behind the scenes planting seeds, planning, creating, and advocating, on several fronts ranging from urban green spaces to education to cooperatives.
